CIVIL DESIGNER/JUNIOR ENGINEER

Benchmark Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Civil Designer/Junior Engineer, with a minimum of 3 years of experience, who wants to grow with an expanding company.

Responsibilities Include:

Preparation of Site grading plans, percolation plans, water & sewer plans, erosion & sediment control plans, storm water management plans & reports, storm drain plans & reports, etc.;
Work independently or as a team player;
Work closely with Professional Engineers and County Agencies to gain plan approvals;
Anything that you are willing to take on and grow with.

Skills Required:

Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D 2022 or higher;
Capable of being a team player and taking on responsibilities without being asked;
Self-motivated team player who is able to take direction.

CIVIL ENGINEER

Benchmark Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Civil Engineer or Senior Designer with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of design experience to join our team of professionals. With the firms' small size and multi-disciplinary approach, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent Experience;
5 - 10 years of experience in residential/commercial site design;
Experience preparing a complete set of civil plans;
Excellent written and communication skills;
Working knowledge and ability to use AutoCAD/Civil 3D 2022 or greater;
A self-starter who can work independently;
Experience working and communicating with others;
P.E. Registration preferred, but not required.

SURVEY OFFICE TECHNICIAN

Benchmark Engineering, Inc. is looking for a motivated, self-starter to join our team as a Survey Office Technician. We are looking for a person to work under the direction of a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor to assist in the preparation of computations for construction stakeout and cutsheets, processing topo, preparing Boundary Surveys, Alta Surveys, descriptions, record plats, etc. Reading and understanding Engineering Plans is a must. Candidate must have experience with the use of AutoCAD Civil3D. Field work may be requested from time to time to assist a field crew or fill in when field personnel are on vacation. Experience with Trimble Robotic Total Stations, Trimble Access, and Data Collectors a plus.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
